(1) The funds of the Council shall consist of the following written amounts:-
(a) Amounts to be received by the Council from application fees,
(b) unconditional sums (in cash or kind) given by any organization or person without prejudice to the policy or purpose of the Council,
(c) the amount raised by the Council by printing and selling any books and periodicals,
(d) Grants received from the Government of Nepal, and
(e) Funds received from other sources, but the Council shall obtain the prior approval of the Government of Nepal before receiving financial assistance from non-Nepalese citizens, foreign governments or international organizations and shall spend the funds so received only on the work for which they were received. .
(2) The operation of the council's fund shall be as provided in the regulations.
(3) The financial year of the Council shall end at the end of the month of each year.

(5) The auditor appointed by the council shall have the accounts audited within 3 months of the end of the financial year.
(6) The Council should submit a copy of the audit report to the Government of Nepal.
